Undergraduate Conditional Admission

If you have received undergraduate conditional admission, congratulations!

The University of Arizona has recognized you as an academically admissible applicant.  Once you satisfy the minimum English proficiency requirement, you can begin in your academic program. The University of Arizona's Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) can help you to meet the English proficiency requirement and can also help you to be more confident once you begin your academic studies.

Complete one of the following to satisfy UA's undergraduate minimum english proficiency requirement: 

  1. Successfully complete CESL's Undergraduate University Track to receive CESL Undergraduate English Language Endorsement.  Students can use CESL's endorsement to fulfill University of Arizona English requirements without taking the TOEFL or IELTS!
  2. Achieve the minimum English proficiency exam score or another qualifying score on one of the tests listed here. Undergraduate students must earn a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 70 or a minimum IELTS score of 6 to receive full admission.
