About the Teen Program
Application

Students learn and use English in classes taught by experienced, enthusiastic ESL teachers.

Students are divided by level and receive 4 hours of language instruction per day, M-Th, in University of Arizona classrooms where speaking and listening skills are emphasized. Lessons are designed specifically for teen learners.

On Fridays, teachers accompany students on recreation/cultural excursions in and around Tucson. On these excursions, the teens have a chance to speak and listen to English in real world settings.

AGE We have set the age standard for the Teen English Program to better meet the needs and attention of our teen-aged students and the students in the intensive English Program. We encourage students ages 13-17 to enroll in the Teen Program.
