About the Program Students learn and use English in classes taught by experienced, enthusiastic ESL teachers. Students are divided by level and receive 4 hours (2 hours for part-time students) of language instruction per day, M-Th, in University of Arizona classrooms where speaking and listening skills are emphasized. Lessons are designed specifically for teen learners. On Fridays, teachers accompany students on recreation/cultural excursions in and around Tucson. On these excursions, the teens have a chance to speak and listen to English in real world settings. |
