Teen English Program Part Time

Description

Intensive English language instruction for teens from ages 13-17. Students will improve their English, develop new friendships, and find joy in learning a second language! Students learn and use English in classes taught by experienced, enthusiastic ESL teachers.

Age

We have set the age standard for the Teen English Program to better meet the needs and attention of our teen-aged students and the students in the intensive English Program. We encourage students ages 13-17 to enroll in the Teen Program. Students must be at least 13 by the time of application.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday

Students are divided by level and receive 2 hours of language instruction per day, M-Th, in University of Arizona classrooms where speaking and listening skills are emphasized. Lessons are designed specifically for teen learners. Part time students have to select whether to take the morning class from 10am - 12pm or afternoon class from 1-3pm.

Fridays

On Fridays, teachers accompany students on recreation/cultural excursions in and around Tucson. On these excursions, the teens have a chance to speak and listen to English in real world settings.
