Experience nature in Tucson. Join Steven Natoli and the Hiking Club for an easy and enjoyable hike to Wild Horse Canyon in the Saguaro National Park. It's 2 miles (3.2km) each way, but nearly all flat until the end. This hike is not very strenous (hard), so it is suitable for everyone who can walk 4 miles (6.5km) roundtrip. If we're lucky the waterfall will still be flowing there.
Wear comfortable shoes for hiking and dress in layers as it may be cold at first. Don't forget to bring water, snacks suitable for hiking (e.g., apples, dried fruit, trail mix, energy bars, etc.), sunscreen, and a hat.
Meet in front of CESL at 10am. Roundtrip ransportation cost is only $10.
*NOTE: You can do both the Hiking Club trip in the morning AND the Desert Diamond Cup - Major League Soccer activity in the afternoon. We will return in time.
