TYPICAL ACTIVITIES

CESL offers many activities to all enrolled students as part of its program. Free activities include campus orientation upon arrival, Conversation Partners, Discussion Groups, Intramural sports, Folk Singing, TGIF, Campus tours, class exchanges, school visits and access to all UA campus events and activities.

The following tourist or sightseeing activites are also offered to our students at our cost. These tours are arranged and escorted by CESL staff; students must make reservations 48 hours in advance by signing up and paying the fees to the activity coordinator. An off campus activity is offered about every other weekend.

Things to do during the 2-hour break!
Things to do during semester break

The University offers many activities, clubs and things to do. You are a university student; you should use university facilities and participate in university activities.

  1. CESL clubs –see meeting schedule on bulletin boards
  2. homework in the CESL labs
  3. homework in the ILC  or engineering lab
  4. UA clubs and lectures – see the Daily Wildcat p. 2
  5. Watch TV in the Student Union
  6. “hang out” in the Student Union and meet other students
  7. use the games room
  8. invite Cheri to a game of pool
  9. any of the campus museum and activities listed below.
